Great Plains Museum

Yesterday we went to the museum with Lindsey and Lily. They had a kids' exhibit called 'Imagination Station'. It was not really what I expected but Mia seemed to enjoy herself.

Greer Park

Mia took a super long three hour nap today so by the time she woke up I was ready to do something. We ended up going to Greer Park which has a big play scape area just for the kids. Being Saturday afternoon it was obviously busy but the older kids were very mindful of Mia and she had so much fun watching them run around. I am so proud of my big girl, she went down the big slide all by herself! She climbed all the way up to it with no help from me, sat right down, and away she went. I helped her up the second time so I could get an action shot.

She kinda has a snotty nose today plus it was a little windy which always makes the noses go. I did notice a huge range of clothing choices for kids today. There were kids in the full winter get-up (hat, puffy coat, gloves) and then there were kids in long sleeve shirts and shorts. The weather was very nice today, I'd say 60's with some wind that made it feel a little cooler. It was more Fall than Winter. I do miss seeing the snow but not so much driving in it. Sorry about that my northern readers.

Actually, Mia is sleeping but I don't think she'll mind if I speak for her. We were inspired to start Mia a blog thanks to Lily and her awesome mommy, Lindsey! Here are some recent photos, including some from our Thanksgiving dinner at Hot Wok and Mia with Lily.
